I’ve been a busy fae this winter! With the advent of our new Go Green, Go Nekkid campaign, I’m feeling charged to create new blends because we won’t have to package them.
Yes, the limited edition soaps (not the 4 season soaps) are going to be only available nekkid. Being limited, it doesn’t mean they will be part of our production and may be a one time creation or we’ll repeat. Being able to make limited edition soaps means fun!
It has been really awesome being able to create new soaps. I find it helps me feel a charge, a drive, a something that reminds me WHY I began nearly 10 years ago. AND YES this is Faerie Made’s 10th year!
New soaps include round Luffa Soaps made with locally grown luffas from Green Goddess Farms. This is a collaborative soap between myself and Joan Chesick. You will be able to find this soap at both of our booths! Yeppers, your scrubby is built right in. And we had fun making this soap together.
Also, I got excited about warm weather happening and decided that I wanted something bright and citrussy to offer. (not sure if citrussy is a word, but I bet you get my drift)… So, I decided it was time to revamp and bring back our Lemon Poppy Soap! 5 folded lemon, a touch of may chang and folded orange makes this a mouth watering smelling treat.
I wasn’t finished with my citrus cravings and my creative urge … so I decided to make a Grapefruit Mint soap. I already snuck a bar into the tub …
Oh and yesterday? I had to had to make this soap … which is just amazing. It’s a soap where I used a locally roasted fresh brewed coffee as the liquid and scented it with cocoa absolute, bourbon vanilla oleoresin and peppermint essential oil. I also added some local honey for a bit more depth. I just cut it this morning and I’m swooning. Methinks I may have to make this one again.
These soaps will be available up close and personal by the beginning of market season and the Grapefruit Mint, Luffa Soap, & Lemon Poppy are about to make their debut on our website!
So yay! I’m feeling good … how about you?
