I’ve been up to business. or BUSYNESS

My list keeps growing. It is that time of year where retailers are calling in orders so in the middle of trying to cross of things on my list … I keep adding more and more.

I am also working on my inventory of t-shirts for gift sets and I’m updating the wholesale website with ingredients and adding a few new items there.

THEN I get the fun fun time of updating Quickbooks and closing out orders.
Blech.
I have supplies to order: low on cocoa butter, lime essential oil AND patchouli … and as I keep working on that, then I realize that … uh oh, we need more rose clay!

The part of running a business … the not so fun part. I love getting in the workshop and creating, but since the business has grown, I find I need to work on updating websites, ordering supplies, resourcing and researching. I have found I love doing the social media side (Facebook, blogging, etc) and wish I could do more along these lines.

I like the times I get to have the workshop for me, like last week when I got to make the perfumes. I hope with some changes in the air here with Faerie Made to have opportunity to get in workshop more to offer some new limited edition soaps and perfumes in small batches.

I REALLY want to get in the workshop and start playing with solid perfumes. I have these different ideas I’m creating in my head that is needing me to get out the essential oils and absolutes to play with and make the what I keep envisioning.

But until then I have to inventory our t-shirts and update a few gift sets. I need to run an order downtown and pick up more Shiva IPA beer for our beer soap.

And eat some lunch.
